Product description
This set of Phonogram reading cards supports children as they deepen their understanding of phonograms and spelling patterns in reading and writing. The set includes 410 cards covering 41 phonogram sounds and their common spelling variations. Each phonogram includes nine word cards and one title card to clearly identify the focus sound.

Two versions are included to support different stages of learning or presentation preferences. One version highlights the phonogram in red, and the other in green, allowing flexibility in how the material is introduced and revisited.

In the Montessori classroom, these cards are typically offered after phonetic reading has been established. The cards are organized by phonogram and used for reading practice, classification, and discovery of spelling patterns. Children read the words and begin to notice patterns across words, supporting both decoding and encoding skills.

This material encourages independent exploration and pattern recognition, making it a strong follow-up to initial phonogram work.
