Off-Platform Transactions Policy

At The Shared Environment, we are deeply committed to keeping our community safe.  

Because navigating off the The Shared Environment platform may increase the risk of fraud or scam exposure, taking communications and transactions off-platform is not allowed. This includes, for example: 

• Making offers to buy or sell outside The Shared Environment 

• Encouraging buyers to purchase an item in your The Shared Environment shop through another venue 

• Using a QR code, delivered digitally or on printed material, to direct users off of the The Shared Environment platform 

A transaction initiated on The Shared Environment may not be completed off of The Shared Environment. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding The Shared Environment transaction fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user's account without permission. Violation of this Off-Platform Transactions policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

This Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updated version of this Policy.
