Product description
The Montessori infant cushion helps support a newborn’s body as they are transferred from hand to hand or laid down.
The cotton surface maintains a consistent body heat so the baby is not startled awake upon being laid down and helps provide stability so they’re less startled in general.
Prior to delivery, mothers are encouraged to sleep with their cushion so that it will have the mom’s familiar smell for the baby.
Babies are messy. A waterproof cover helps reduce laundering time and energy.
The batting layers in the topponcino case are tacked and then the cotton case is tacked to the batting, but the topponcino should be hand washed with minimal agitation so as not to displace the cotton batting layers. After hand washing, I then roll it up in dry towels to try to squeeze out as much water as possible before allowing to air dry.
