Montessori Grammar Box Cover Slips
The grammar boxes invite the child to discover the function of words through movement, analysis, and self-questioning. After laying out the sentence cards and corresponding word cards, the child identifies each word by asking questions such as, “What is the word that named the object?” or “What is the word that described the object?” As each word is symbolized, the child removes the cover slip from the grammar box to reveal the name of the part of speech.
These Grammar Box Cover Slips are printed in the original Montessori colors and include the corresponding question for each part of speech. Designed to replace worn materials or complete a set of grammar boxes, they provide a clear visual reminder that helps children connect the function of words with their grammatical names.
Ideal for elementary Montessori classrooms, these cover slips support independent work and reinforce the child's understanding of the parts of speech through discovery and repetition.
