This learning material allows your child to develop two sets of skills: their fine motor skills and basic color coordination. We recommend introducing this item around 6 months of age. The bowling pin is about 4 inches tall. Each ring is 2 and 11/16" wide.

Each piece is sealed with a completely natural homemade blend of beeswax and olive oil.

The following 5 colored rings are included: orange, pink, green, yellow, and purple. The colors are created through homemade dyes, using all natural ingredients: blueberries, red cabbage, beets, onions, and turmeric. The colors are more subtle than commercial dyes and paints, giving the pieces a vintage look and keeping them completely natural.

The child's play should be monitored at all times.

Good to know

Care instructions 1. NEVER soak, steam or immerse wood in water. Spray a clean cloth with a mixture of mild dish soap, vinegar (white vinegar or apple cider vinegar works well) OR other non-toxic multipurpose cleaner, diluted with water; wipe with the cloth and then air dry. Wood is porous so soaking will cause them to swell, change shape and break. 2. Drying in the sun is great as it speeds up the drying process and the sun is a natural way to clean your items. However strong sunlight or prolonged exposure can lead to color fade. 3. This process will likely remove the finish, sand and reapply olive oil/beeswax finish to maintain protection when necessary.
